This bowl’s timeless silhouette is borrowed from an ancient Greek vessel (late 5th century B.C.) in The Met collection. Crafted out of terracotta and finished with a black glaze, the Museum’s stemmed dish was likely reserved for foods such as olives, nuts, and small fruits. Honor the original with bite-sized refreshments, or repurpose it however you choose.
