From 1884 on, Winslow Homer (American, 1836–1910) ritually visited tropical locations during the winter months, and watercolor became his preferred medium during his travels. Suggestive and experimental, Homer’s late-life watercolors were widely admired and desired, and bore great influence over the succeeding generations of artists. Channel the artist’s passion for the medium with our watercolor set featuring his Flower Garden and Bungalow, Bermuda (1899) in The Met collection.
